Alpha Delta Gamma was founded on October 10, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, on the "El" (the elevated train) when four undergraduates at Loyola University decided to build a union of men based upon the principles and ideals of St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Francis Xavier, and Fr. Issac Joques.
